Overview

Quick Care Guide

The most important factor in keeping a closed terrarium alive is the environment you keep it. It needs semi-shade. This means no direct sunlight and no darkness but somewhere in-between. The middle of a bright room is a good place. It is also temperature sensitive so avoid heat sources or very cold/draughty spots.

Once watered for the first time you will NOT need to water again! However, if you accidentally leave it in too bright a spot and it looks dried out you can add a few sprays of water from a mister to kick start the water cycle again.

Turn your terrarium about once a week to ensure even growth of plants.

If the terrarium glass mists up so much that you can’t see the plants inside then move to a cooler and less bright location until it clears- try to avoid removing the cork.

You can clean the inside of your terrarium, if necessary, with a bristle bottle brush cleaner or a soft cloth.

FREE UK DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS OVER £50.

Free local delivery to Brighton & Hove homes and surrounding areas is available.

UK Nationwide delivery fees (for total orders under £50):

  • £4 for 48-hour tracked delivery via Royal Mail
  • £6.95 tracked next-day working day delivery with UPS (order must be received before 2pm to guarantee next-day delivery).

These charges cover the whole order, regardless of how many items. Please email us if you would like the option to upgrade your shipping for faster delivery.

Refunds & returns

Refunds are available for any plant or product with an obvious fault. The request must be made within 7 days of delivery via email or by phone.

Any products damaged in transit will require photos to be submitted via email. If we think they are salvageable we will provide you with return labels. If they are not we will provide a full refund, but we require the complaint to be submitted within 7 days of receiving the plant.

Any return of plants within 7 days for any other reason will require the customer to pay for that return postage. Full details can be found here on our Refunds Policy page.
