Ficus sagittata 'Radicans' variegata (Creeping fig)

Ficus sagittata 'Radicans' vareigata is a beautiful variegated creeping or vining variety of houseplant from the huge Fig family. It has a creeping habit so will trail or can be training to climb up a suitable structure. This ficus has elongated green leaves with bright cream-white variegated patterns.

Care Difficulty: This plant has simple care needs.

Light requirements: The creeping fig likes a bright location, out of direct sun as this will burn the leaves.

Watering: Water thoroughly after allowing the top 2 inches of soil to dry out. This plant does not like overwatering so make sure the soil has sufficient drainage and that the pot has drainage holes.

Humidity: Prefers a slightly more humid environment, keep in the bathroom or kitchen where humidity is higher or make sure to mist the area surrounding the foliage regularly. Low humidity can cause browning tips. Great for terrariums.

Toxicity: Toxic to pets & humans if ingested. Contact with the sap can cause skin irritation.

Feeding: Likes to be fed once - twice a month during the growing season (spring-summer) and not at all during winter.

Repotting: prefers to be slightly rootbound. Repot every 3 years to a pot one size up or when excessively rootbound.
