This stunning blue-green fleshy plant is a succulent from the genus Cotyledon. Its name derives from the shape of its leaves that resemble stag/ elk horns. The almost frosted looking appearance of the foliage is due to the presence of epicuticular wax, which helps to protect the plant from the brightest rays of sun and stop accumulation of moisture on the leaves. This succulent one less commonly available in plant shops, and makes for an easy care plant in the home.

    Overview

    Quick Care Guide

    Care Difficulty: Super easy to care for, brilliant plant for beginners as they don’t require much care.

    Light requirements: Warm bright sunny spot, with some direct sunlight being ideal. A south facing windowsill is ideal.

    Watering: Water thoroughly but allow this plant to dry out completely between waterings. Drought tolerant, its best to underwater then to overwater. Reduce watering in winter.

    Humidity: Does not need any extra humidity.

    Toxicity: Toxic to humans and pets

    Feeding: Enjoys being fed during Spring- Summer growth period once or twice. Always follow the instructions on your feed of choice. A cactus and succulent feed is best.

    Repotting: Repot around once a year -check to see if the roots are coming out the bottom of the pot or the bottom is filler by offsets.

    FREE UK DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS OVER £50.

    Free local delivery to Brighton & Hove homes and surrounding areas is available.

    UK Nationwide delivery fees (for total orders under £50):

    • £4 for 48-hour tracked delivery via Royal Mail
    • £6.95 tracked next-day working day delivery with UPS (order must be received before 2pm to guarantee next-day delivery).

    These charges cover the whole order, regardless of how many items. Please email us if you would like the option to upgrade your shipping for faster delivery.

    Refunds & returns

    Refunds are available for any plant or product with an obvious fault. The request must be made within 7 days of delivery via email or by phone.

    Any products damaged in transit will require photos to be submitted via email. If we think they are salvageable we will provide you with return labels. If they are not we will provide a full refund, but we require the complaint to be submitted within 7 days of receiving the plant.

    Any return of plants within 7 days for any other reason will require the customer to pay for that return postage. Full details can be found here on our Refunds Policy page.
