The Cereus peruvianus is native to South America. It is also sometimes known as Queen of the night or the Peruvian apple cactus It has tall and straight stems, pale green-blue in colour and ribbed with fuzzy white-yellow spines.

RATING- Easy

LOVES- A bright spot with some sunshine throughout winter and semi-shady in summer. Water thoroughly then allow the soil to dry out especially in winter.

HATES- Being over-watered, misting or very cold temperatures

    The Cereus peruvianus is native to South America. It is also sometimes known as Queen of the night or the Peruvian apple cactus It has tall and straight stems, pale green-blue in colour and ribbed with fuzzy white-yellow spines.

    Quick Care Guide

    Care Difficulty: Super easy to care for, brilliant plant for beginners as they don’t require much care.

    Light requirements: Prefer bright light on a warm sunny windowsill.

    Watering: Water thoroughly but allow this plant to dry out completely between waterings. Watering even less in winter.

    Humidity: Does not require any extra humidity.

    Toxicity: Not known to be toxic to humans and pets

    Feeding: Enjoys being fed during Spring- Summer growth period. Always follow the instructions on your feed of choice. Best to use a slow release fertiliser.

    Repotting: Repot around every 2-3 years. They are slow growers and don't mind being slightly root bound. -check to see if the roots are coming out the bottom of the pot!

    FREE UK DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS OVER £50.

    Free local delivery to Brighton & Hove homes and surrounding areas is available.

    UK Nationwide delivery fees (for total orders under £50):

    • £4 for 48-hour tracked delivery via Royal Mail
    • £6.95 tracked next-day working day delivery with UPS (order must be received before 2pm to guarantee next-day delivery).

    These charges cover the whole order, regardless of how many items. Please email us if you would like the option to upgrade your shipping for faster delivery.

    Refunds & returns

    Refunds are available for any plant or product with an obvious fault. The request must be made within 7 days of delivery via email or by phone.

    Any products damaged in transit will require photos to be submitted via email. If we think they are salvageable we will provide you with return labels. If they are not we will provide a full refund, but we require the complaint to be submitted within 7 days of receiving the plant.

    Any return of plants within 7 days for any other reason will require the customer to pay for that return postage. Full details can be found here on our Refunds Policy page.
