Drosera is a plant that exists in many climates, from Europe to Australasia to Africa. This carnivorous plant, often referred to as a sundew, catches small insects using the sticky hairs on the edges of its leaves.

Sarracenia or the pitcher plant , it is carnivorous- feeding on insects which it lures into traps which contain digestive fluid! Native to North America where it grows in wetlands. It has deep tall pitcher that vary in colour from Burgundy to yellow.

Dionaea muscipula or 'Venus flytrap' is a carnivorous plant native to subtropical wetlands on the East Coast of the United States in North Carolina and South Carolina. It is a flowering plant best known for its carnivorous eating habits. The 'trap' is made of two hinged lobes at the end of each leaf. On the inner surfaces of the lobes are hair-like projections called trichomes that cause the lobes to snap shut when prey comes in contact with them.

Pinguicula or Butterwort is a carnivorous plant with bright green leaves which produce as sticky residue that attracts insects. Once they land they are stuck and digested by the plant.

LOVES- Full sun to light shade! Must be kept wet at all times. Never allow the soil to dry out

HATES- Tap water - try to use rain water for these plants as they don't appreciate the chemicals found in tap water

    FREE UK DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS OVER £50.

    Free local delivery to Brighton & Hove homes and surrounding areas is available.

    UK Nationwide delivery fees (for total orders under £50):

    • £4 for 48-hour tracked delivery via Royal Mail
    • £6.95 tracked next-day working day delivery with UPS (order must be received before 2pm to guarantee next-day delivery).

    These charges cover the whole order, regardless of how many items. Please email us if you would like the option to upgrade your shipping for faster delivery.

    Refunds & returns

    Refunds are available for any plant or product with an obvious fault. The request must be made within 7 days of delivery via email or by phone.

    Any products damaged in transit will require photos to be submitted via email. If we think they are salvageable we will provide you with return labels. If they are not we will provide a full refund, but we require the complaint to be submitted within 7 days of receiving the plant.

    Any return of plants within 7 days for any other reason will require the customer to pay for that return postage. Full details can be found here on our Refunds Policy page.
